I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to be Seen.
Not just seen, but Seen-- capital S.
But, how do we get people to Look at us? Look IN us? And see the hidden things. The lovely, broken, bruised, glowing, brilliant hidden. things that lie below the surface. How do we get them to See us? How do we let ourselves be Seen?
The works in this collection are an exploration--
Into what it means to be bold.
Into what it means to be frivolous.
Into what it means to be bright.
Into what it means to have shadows.
Into what it means to be vulnerable
Into what it means to feel Seen.
I want you to Look. I want you to stand up close and Explore. I want to Examine every shadow, line, swirl, galaxy, universe, ocean, reef, sun that you can find. I want you to See Me.
